Attorney Linda M. Jackson has been practicing law for 17 years. She attended Buckingham, Browne & Nichols School in Cambridge, MA and graduated in 1980. Linda went on to UMASS Amherst. She continued to Salem State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sociology Magna Cum Laude in 1993. Linda then attended the Massachusetts School of Law and graduated with a J.D. in 1996. Linda’s areas of expertise are Family Law and Litigation. This includes Divorce, Child Custody, Paternity, Child Support, Child Protection, State Intervention Matters, Care and Protection Cases, Guardianships, and Child Welfare. Attorney Jackson was admitted to practice law in the State Courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as well as the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts in 1997. She is a member of the Duke’s County BAR Association and is a certified Florida Supreme Court Mediator.

Linda is a strong supporter of her local community. She is a member  of Martha’s Vineyard Rotary International, a long standing organization committed to public service. She is on the Board of Advisers of Vineyard House Inc., a non-profit organization for sober islanders in early recovery. Linda is a former member of the Edgartown Town Finance Committee. She has volunteered her time to the Anti-Defamation League of Boston, the International Institute of Boston resettling Laotian refugees, and Healthy Streets of Lynn, MA. Currently, Linda is the Managing partner and business owner at Larkosh & Jackson LLP in Edgartown, MA.
